Ice Droplets Close Up - Antarctica

This shot is roughly 3mm across - it's of a single droplet of moisture on the window of an Antarctic building - Once the droplet freezes in place between the panes of glass it splinters off into tiny 'snowflake' like creations which make these amazing patterns. The golden colour is from the midwinter low level sunlight shining behind the droplet.
