The Raydome - Wilkes Station - Antarctica

2017 - When wintering at Antarctic stations the lack of light for a few months along with the isolation can cause your brain to conjour up some interesting photographic creations.

This shot was taken at Wilkes station, an abandoned Antarctic station originally built by the Americans in 1957. The building in this picture was the old 'Ray Dome' which has unfortunately since been lost in a storm.
